These are creative, interpersonal, and iterative skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Building a business requires operational skills: systems design, financial management, product development, team coordination, and strategic planning. These are analytical, structural, and often boring skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The problem is that most creators are creatives, not operators. They&#8217;re energized by content creation and drained by spreadsheets. So when it&#8217;s time to scale, they either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Stay small and burn out<\/strong> from trying to do everything themselves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scale chaotically<\/strong> without systems, leading to quality collapse and audience attrition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hire badly<\/strong> because they don&#8217;t know what roles they need or how to manage people<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The creator&#8217;s dilemma isn&#8217;t a personal failing\u2014it&#8217;s a skill mismatch. And the solution isn&#8217;t to become a different person.
